Immortal

we lived
and life never ended
we lived
like immortal souls
we lived
'till the end of time

never geting any older
never getting any younger
we had to stay alive
living through troubled times
living the good times

we felt sorrow
we felt happiness
after a while
we never felt glad
after ev'rybody had gone
from our lives

we wanted to end it all
but we were destined
to live all times
'till time ran out
and...
nothing was there

only the Universe
it had no time
it was ageless
we belonged there
we lived on
and...
life never ended

it was like it was
as it always had been
as it always had seemed
