A silence

all I want is
to think come to terms
with my surroundings
where I don't  find a will
to listen to the silence
I bear

a silence is in me
keeps me out of reach
out of touch
guards my secrets
a silence is in me

so I struggle on
fighting  contradiction
in a process of regaining
a balance in my soul

is in me

regaining my security
is all I need to get by
this silence will leave me
in its retreat
free on the mend
I'll step in to life again
