beaten
but not defeated
longin' for some peace
exchanged glances confirm the question
in their eyes
some
tense sense of restfulness reaches troubled
minds
an
forgotten force erupts from the ultimate depth
of
their souls
surrounded by destructive testamonies
of
a
morbid idealism
late
in the afternoon the sun seeks refuge in its setting
silence
encircles them like a heavy cloak
a
deep sigh tells it all
behind
the grit of devistation time slices through
each's
own man made hell
fear
calls upon their last shred of courage
a
last offensive reaches out for them
suddenly
rage seeks its confrontation, muffled cries ring out
callin' on ones dear,
even
a
'Maker '
in a 'dance macabre' steel encounters steel
forging
an
ending never to be revealed
slowly fading in to a battle born mist
a
feelin' of contentment settles in
somewhere
a last faint sigh is heard
place an' time meet again,
it
has
no
winners
only
a
powerfull destruction
remains
