I
dig here ev'ry day
it's my bread an' butter
same time same way, ev'ry day
gettin' it my way
not tellin' lies
I've
dug ev'ry size, be it summer or winter time
turned ev'ry kind of soil
never
got any boils
I've been at it such a long time
some say I'm diggin' my own grave
it'll
be dug in my own time
that be when my pension arrivés
and I'm determined, to enjoy it a long time
digin'keeps ye young, diggin' is a healthy life
somebodyelse can dig
the hole I'm goin' in, sweat covering his lips
cursin' me ev'ry dig
his back achin' from time to time
mutterin' away when I arrive
no
such thing as fallin' in to your own trap
it
simply hasn't been dug
yet
