Just a dream

time's in short supply
I'm lloosin' myself in to dreams
I don't wanna get up, but I must
and I hate it


'cause time is so short
that I can dream of the things
I didn't get like love an' all the rest
it is why I dream

I can pretend and I hate to get up
close the book I was dreamin' of
live day by day, it's all a waste

I know what I want
it is not to happen anyway
so I loose myself in to dreams

in my world of pretence
at least I'm happy there
I dream an' dream

'till I've turned in to the dream
the dream of one unreal
yes I was just a dream
