a past
dusty an' grey
I climbed out of it
its mud clingin' like clay
can't seem to lose it, does not fade
as it should, a past could
it's not a friendly one
nothin' to be proud of, follows me where ever I go
it will not be gone, addin' somethin' day by day
to a past dusty an' grey
a time will come
it will not be replaced
a new life will be formed, it will bloom, will be bright
where dust, has no place, an' grey
has turned, its better
