sometimes I frown sometimes she's down

Heat wave

 

 

 

 

where are we now

 

weather's coolin' down

 

a

 

heath wave took command, hidden in the land

 

our

 

minds filled with hot sand,  just took her hand

 

something burst, no clouds as far as

 

I

 

could

 

see

 

 

caught in a web of emotion

 

nature took its course as of old

 

poor boy, rich girl, lifes miles apart

 

a

 

heathwave took command

 

strange things happened  , led by an unseen hand

 

a

 

passion flower grew, she wouldn't stop it

 

from

 

comin' to bloom

 

this

 

heath wave laid  a scent of true command

 

 

 

weather was coolin'  down, took her back up town

 

in

 

her little sportscar, with a distant plate

 

 

we were strangers again, said good bye with

 

a

 

faint little smile

 

 

nothin'to keep us, nothin' enough to stay

 

she

 

drove out of my life, never bothered to look twice

 

 

it

 

happened again after so many years

 

a

 

passion flower growing, takin' her time

 

she

 

would stop here

 

a

 

heath wave on, takin' command

 

forcing us to grow another flower
