see
the stranger come down the hill
he
lets the horse find its way at its own will
gently, the stranger leads it on, 'till he comes down and sees
the
people look at him
he's
from far away and thirsty up to this day
but
first the horse quenches his thirst
he's
a
stranger in a new world
the
people are anxious to hear the news
they
don't hear much in this out of the way place
he's
a
carpenter with gentle man's ways they can see that right away
and
he tells them stories of the old world
where once he stayed
and
they are pleased to have acknowledged they did the right thing
to
go
away
the
stranger is given a meal and asked to stay
but
he says he has too many stories to tell to too many people
he
has to be on his way
so he mounts his horse ande the carpenter with the gentleman's ways
rides of in to the distance
and
fades
